I don't really like it. It is very hard to follow and if mr S wasn't there to help me through it and understand it, than I wouldn't of gotten the story at all. I would if only of gotten the scenes when there wasn't a flashback. And that was mostly the whole book.
I don't think that it was necessary to kill himself. He should have just waited to die naturally. He made up with his children and they all said that they would do better and try harder in life. But they actually can't because willy failed as a parent.
I really like the part when biff saw willy in Boston cheating on his wife. And then willy gave the girl the moms stockings. And that's what really ticked off biff. Made biff want to never want to see his dad again. That's why he never went to summer school just to make his dad mad but instead, in return it only hurt biff. And screwed up his whole life.
Then there was happy. He just screwed all the girls he possibly could. Even his boss's wives. That I think takes balls. And he isn't scared about taking chances in life and that's why I like happy the best. That's also why I think Arthur miller played with the idea of the name "happy". He's happy not because he has a lot of sex. But because he takes chances in life and that's what makes him happy.
i agree, the book was kinda hard to follow
